melk is a collaboration of curious craft making between local Vancouver designers Chrystale Thompson, of Ecstatic Design & Communication and Jeremy Van Nieuwkerk, of Shrapnel Design.melk designs are inspired by natural and city landscapes and their synchronistic relationship, and by the social and cultural tensions that arise from this entanglement, shaping the environments we live and work in and ultimately defining us. The designs illustrate a wry and whimsical view of the struggle between our natural and manmade environments.
